Cosmic Sierra

Sapporo, Hokkaido · Fitted, not guessed

Footwear and clothing chosen around your actual measurements

Cosmic Sierra measures forefoot, midfoot and heel before recommending a single shoe. Whether you are walking pavement in the city or gravel trails outside town, we start with fit and let styling follow.

Walking shoes and outdoor clothing laid out for a fitting session

What we actually deliver

A great deal of walking discomfort comes down to a shoe or garment chosen from a size chart rather than a foot. We take length, width, arch height, and the change between standing and seated measurement, then match that shape against the lasts we carry. The result tends to be fewer surprises on longer walks: less rubbing, less numbness, fewer toe-end complaints after a few hours on the trail.

Why people choose to measure first

A handful of things separate a fitting-led approach from picking a shoe off a shelf, and each one shows up on longer walks.

Measured, not assumed

Length, width and arch height are recorded before any recommendation is made, so the shoe fits the foot rather than a stated size.

Terrain-aware advice

Pavement, park paths, forest trail, gravel or snow each call for a different outsole and layering choice, and we talk through which applies to you.

Support after the sale

A break-in review within three months lets us adjust insoles and lacing once you have actually walked in the shoes.

Route-specific planning

Tell us the route, season and daily walking hours, and we return a layering and footwear plan built around what you already own.

Rooted in Hokkaido

Our studio sits in central Sapporo, and our recommendations account for a climate that runs from summer trail dust to winter snowpack.

No pressure to buy

Fitting sessions run without any expectation of a purchase on the day. You leave with a printed measurement card either way.
